Library System Offers Read-Down Fines Program for all Patrons during May The Jackson-George Regional Library System is offering a special program for children, teens or adults who may owe library fines for overdue books or library materials. Beginning May 1, 2012, all patrons... East Central Public Library Spring Book Sale - May 12 Bargain hunters should come early to the East Central Public Library Spring Book Sale for the best selections in like-new or used books and more. The one-day event will be held on Saturday, May 12, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. AARP Driving Class scheduled at Gautier Library - May 17 Are you age fifty-five or older? You may be interested in the AARP driver's workshop. The 1-day workshop will be held Thursday, May 17, from 12 noon to 4:30 p.m., in the library meeting room. Lucedale Library to dedicate new sign - May 19 On Saturday, May 19, at 10 a.m., community leaders, elected officials and family members will gather to dedicate the new Lucedale-George County Public Library sign on the corner of Oak Street and Beaver Dam Road. Free Computer Classes scheduled for May New class schedules are posted on the library website each month. Location and class size vary from week to week. Registration is required in advance. A valid JGRLS library card is required before registering for any class. |
